Bursary paired lessons for a limited number of students on Free School Meals.
This bursary project began with 10 students in year 3/4 who have now been playing Suzuki Recorder for three years. Learning an instrument benefits academic development and builds important life-skills such as perseverance, concentration, listening, confidence, co-ordination and teamwork. Musical Buds CIC is reliant on donations to sustain and expand this outreach. Other students at North Fawdon Primary School have the opportunity to book weekly half-hour lessons in school:
