Musical Buds CIC runs a community outreach project at North Fawdon Primary School, Newcastle upon Tyne.
This provides Suzuki Recorder / Piano lessons to students who wouldn't have the opportunity to learn an instrument.

can access weekly piano / recorder lessons in school: Individual 15-min. / Paired 30-min. lessons - £95 per term Individual 30-min. lessons - £190 per term Bursary paired 20-min. lessons for students on Free School Meals
This bursary project began with 10 students in year 3/4 who learned Suzuki Recorder for 2-4 years. There are now 4 bursary students who are currently in year 5, and we would love to include more. Musical Buds CIC is reliant on donations to continue and expand this outreach, so please contribute if you can. Learning an instrument benefits academic development and builds important life-skills such as perseverance, concentration, listening, confidence, co-ordination, fine motor skills, & teamwork. |
